artist statement
Most -if not all- of artmaking is an extension of humanity. If I try to rationalize or philosophize my artmaking, I find that it (the act of artmaking itself) takes on an unnatural form.
Logic and reason are devices of humankind, not extensions of it.
Therefore, in an effort to retain my sense of humanity, I try not to think too hard about the things I make.

"Don't tell me what I am doing; I don't want to know! What a way to live. The only way. For by pretending at ignorance, the intuition, curious at seeming neglect, rears its invisible head and snakes out through your palmprints in mythological forms." - Ray Bradbury
